  2. GRILLED FRESH TROUT

  7. Ingredients:
  8. 6-8 fresh trout, cleaned,     1 lb. bacon
  9. but with heads intact (you
  10. can cut the heads off if it
  11. totally grosses you out!
  12. *grin*)
  13. 1 lemon, sliced thinly        2 sticks butter
  14. 1/4 tsp. onion powder         1 lb. fresh mushrooms,
  15.                               sliced
  16. 1/2 cup white wine            1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  17.  
  18. Instructions:
  19. Stuff fresh sliced mushrooms into the body cavities of the
  20. fish.  Wrap with sliced bacon and secure with a toothpick to
  21. keep the mushrooms inside the fish. Set aside.  Melt butter
  22. and add the wine, onion and garlic powders.  Put fish on
  23. grill.  Cook on one side.  Turn fish.  Baste top sides with
  24. the butter mixture.  Cook and then turn again.  Lay lemon
  25. slices on top side of fish and baste with butter mixture
  26. again.  Cook until done.  Time depends on temperature of the
  27. grill.  Any remaining butter mixture can be used on the fish
  28. after it is served.
